We are the champions in Pursuit of Perfection. We have coordinated countless phases of finishing and binding in order to create surprising details, such as an embossed embrodery close to the ropes of the boxing ring, that we placed on the clamshell box surface of this project.

We inserted a photo printed in limited edition and with an original signature: every single copy of The Fight is one of a kind, exactly like the famous match between George Foreman and Muhammad Ali. Leafing through the book will give you the feeling to be there, in 1974, attending the “Rumble in The Jungle” in Kinshasa.

We used Offset machines and other machines for folding, stitching and binding the books. We added the flair of a handmade production to the accuracy of an automatic process. For these copies, for instance, we used the tube on spine technique which is the same used in the past for the antique books.

It’s a shrewdness used for big and heavy books, a way to make them stronger and more durable. We glued on the spine a cardboard bent in two in order to avoid that the body of the book and the cover detach one from the other.

The book is put into a handmade clamshell box, covered outside in yellow fabric with UV and inside with Premium Uncoated paper 140 grammi/mq. This is a precious paper used for special projects like this.

The cover is smooth and soft to the touch, as silk around your fingers.

At the completion of our work, we protected the copies by inserting them inside tailor-made Vulcano boxes covered in foam, as a safeguard during the shipping. In this way the books have been delivered in perfect conditions.
